Bonus for the purchase of recycled products: Mite updates the Faq
The legislation that provides incentives for companies that purchase products obtained from recycled materials was further strengthened: in fact, on 2 March 2022 the Ministry of Ecological Transition (MITE) updated the frequently asked questions (Faq) page on the tax credit for the '' purchase of products and packaging from recycled materials.
The measure was provided for by the 2019 Budget Law (Law 145/2018). Applications must only be submitted online through the Invitalia PA Digitale IT platform (https://padigitale.invitalia.it) by persons in possession of the public digital identity system (Spid).
Further information can be found in the Faq of the Ministry of ecological transition updated to 2 March 2022 and obviously in ACM: we are in fact an active part for our customers who wish to have access to the above incentives.
The regulatory compliance tool are our certifications (CSI RECYCLED PLASTIC) - downloadable directly from this site under "Certifications" - and the analyzes we provide for each batch of REPLEN and BIOPLANT, on which we report the legal nature of the material (raw material second and / or plastic / bioplastic from by-product) in addition to its origin (PIR and / or PCR - pre and / or post consumer).
And all this when on March 2, 2022, the UN Assembly for the Environment (UNEA-5) approved in Nairobi, Kenya, a resolution aimed at combating pollution caused by plastic waste, laying the foundations for defining - by 2024 - a legally binding international agreement between 175 countries.
The resolution (entitled "End plastic pollution: Towards an international legally binding instrument") establishes an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) which will have to draw up a document based on an approach that takes into account the entire life cycle of plastics and which includes provisions to promote sustainable production and consumption (through, for example, product design tools, use of recyclates and environmentally friendly waste management) and that contains national and international cooperation measures aimed at reducing plastic pollution , especially in the marine environment, including the existing one.
At the end of the INC's work, UNEP will convene a conference to adopt the outcome and open it to signatures.
We are there!
